Classification According to the table in Dales1962 he is the first to use 'Oweniida' as an order-level category, and he used it just for Oweniidae, which provides no information on its relationships. Fauchald (1976) adopted this usage for the orders in his guide. It is at best a placeholder name pending clarification of the affinities of Oweniidae [details]
