[details]
Homonymy Definitely meant as a new genus for Capitellides dispar collected from New Zealand. This is not a misreporting of a usage of a previous name. However, Mesnil's 1897 Capitellides [now a synonym of Capitella in Capitellidae] is senior. Chamberlin (1919: 466) replaced the name with Capitellethus. Chamberlin gives no explanation of his new name and did not use it for a taxon record. [details]
