Status Listed in the Hartman catalogue as a junior synonym of Eupolymnia nesidensis (Delle Chiaje, 1828) of Gulf of Naples. Hartman likely derived the placement from prior literature, but she never recorded her sources for such synonymies. Lavesque et al (2021; 27) examined the type of Terebella abbreviata to compare it to Eupolymnia meissnerae, their new species from the same region (Brittany), and placed it as species inquirenda, due to poor condition (loss of branchiae) [details]From other sources
