Etymology Grube doesn't give an etymology, but the species group name of 'serratibranchis' is evidently a reference to the serrated radioles he describes. Grube is overwhelmingly the main user in WoRMS of '-branchis' as part of a descriptive adjective for gill morphology. It is not a dictionary word. [details]
