Depth range Shallow water. [details]
Distribution Singapore; Philippines (San Miguel Harbor, Ticao Island). [details]
Etymology The specific epithet triangulifer refers to the characteristic color pattern of the species, with a dorsal triangular spot on the anterior margin of the segments. [details]
Habitat Sand and blocks of coral. [details]
Taxonomy Nygren (2004) considered this taxon to be an Autolytinae incertae sedis. The species was described with base on male stolons, but given the characteristic color pattern probably it will be possible to recognize the atokous form of the species when found. Some morphological data concerning the species is missing, for which reason it is not possible to know to which genus A. triangulifer should be referred. [details]
Type locality Probably Singapore ("Wahrscheinlich bei Singapore gesammelt"; Grube, 1878: 128) (geocoordinates not provided, estimated with gazetteer to be approximately lat. 1.22, long. 103.74). [details]
Type material Apparently not deposited at MPW or ZMB, where other type material described by Grube (1878) is deposited. [details]
Type specimen The species was described with base on two male stolons (Polybostrichus). [details]
