Editor's comment Part of Pixell's material has been re-identified as Spirobranchus murrayi Pillai, 2009; Sp. maldivensis as mentioned by Wesenberg-Lund (1949), and present in the Zool.Mus.Copenhagen in reality is a cluster of Pomatoleios kraussii. [details]
