Spelling As Aglaophamus is a masculine genus, the species adjective has an incorrect ending for gender in the original description. Future usages should be as Aglaophamus heteroserratus. Note that, prior to September 2018, WoRMS formerly incorrectly recorded the name as Aglaophamus "heterocirrata". This was a data-entry error. There is no such name.
