Editor's comment Zibrowius (1970) made an error when he included "Serpula spirorbis (Southward, 1963)" in text flow discussion. There is no such recombination based on author Southward, instead it is a species of Linnaeus. Zibrowius evidently intended the species combination Serpula planorbis (Southward, 1963) of this record.
