Etymology authors: "The name of the species refers to the type location, the Republic of Congo" [details]

Spelling Corrected to Terebellides congolanus. Terebellides is a masculine genus, therefore a geographic adjectival name formed using the suffix -anus -ana, anum, must have the masculine -anus ending, thus Terebellides congolanus for mandatory adjectival agreement. However, Parapar et al used 'congolana'. Prior model examples are Allopauropus congolanus Remy, 1954 (masculine) and Tomopteris congolana Støp-Bowitz, 1992 (feminine) [details]
