Etymology The subspecific epithet magnapapillata is composed by the Latin adjective magna, feminine of magnus and meaning 'big' or 'large', and the Latin adjective papillata, feminine of papillatus and meaning 'having nipples or buds', and refers to the presence of big papillae on the surface of the segments posterior to the proventricle.
