From editor or global species database
Taxonomy Hessle (1917) tentatively recombined Amphicteis nasuta to Anobothrus. Beginning with Jirkov (2009: 119) several authors have excluded Anobothrus nasuta Ehlers from Anobothrus, most recently Alalykina & Polyakova (2020: 18 of 20), but none have said what genus it should belong to. The only option therefore is to remove the species from Anobothrus and refer it back to its original genus of Amphicteis until the matter is resolved. [details]
