Classification Chamberlin (1919: 326) places Enonella bicarinata in Lumbrineridae, while commenting that it is incompletely described. Whiteaves (1900: 88, Catalogue of the marine Invertebrata of eastern Canada.) places the taxon as incertae sedis). Hartman (1944: 185) places Enonella bicarinata in Lysaretidae (now Lumbrineridae, but again states it is "too incompletely known to identify beyond family" In the 1959 catalogue she continued to place Enonella into Lysaretidae. Fauchald (1977, pink book: 110: placed Enonella as an indeterminable genus in Iphitimidae. In his WoRMS database in 2008 Fauchald placed Enonella in Dorvilleidae, but there appears to be no supporting documentation for this. [details]From other sources
