Synonymy Gee & Huys (1990: 1568) examined the holotype of P. langi and found that it agrees with the description of P. triarticulatus in all respects other than the setation and segmentation of P2-P4. They believed that a detailed reexamination of these two species will show them to be synonymous. Later, Huys et al. (1996: 244) formally relegated P. langi as a junior subjective synonym of P. triarticulatus. [details]
