Taxonomy This genus may be synonymous with Hemioniscus; if this is shown to be the case, then the Cryptothir would be the senior synonym of Hemioniscus and the family would have to be called Cryptothiridae. Recollection of specimens from the type locality and host for C. minutus is needed. [details]
