According to the definition given by the OECD [2], "Evaluations are analytical assessments addressing results of public policies, organisations or programmes, that emphasise reliability and usefulness of findings. Their role is to improve information and reduce uncertainty..."[1] Evaluation addresses problems of decision making, supporting decision makers with information in order to improve the outcomes of policies and practices. Evaluation methodologies and techniques are based on scientifically sound methods and lead to results which can be reproduced.
