Diagnosis Test trochospiral, planoconvex, spiral side flattened, umbilical side elevated, apertural face with sharply angular margins and subconical chambers, commonly four chambers per whorl, umbilicus closed, sutures depressed, curved and oblique on the spiral side, nearly radial on the umbilical side; wall calcareous, finely perforate, surface smooth; aperture areal, of numerous rounded pores scattered over the flattened and sharply defined apertural face.
