Diagnosis Test elongate, up to 3.5 mm in length, fusiform, planispirally enrolled about an elongate axis, whorls enlarging rapidly but never uncoil, chambers numerous, low in the axial plane but higher toward the poles, endoskeleton of interseptal pillars; wall calcareous, porcelaneous; aperture of rows of circular openings on the terminal face that alternate with the pillars in position.
