Diagnosis Test enrolled, robust, involute, biumbilicate, coiling slightly irregular to streptospiral, whorls enlarging rapidly, few chambers per whorl, commonly four in the final whorl, chambers inflated, septa short and thicker than the outer wall; wall calcareous, fibrous radiate, secondary deposits chomatalike at the floor of the chambers, those of the final whorl appearing as prominent anteriorly directed hooks; aperture a low basal slit.
