Diagnosis Test biserial, later may become uniserial; wall calcareous, microgranular, commonly with an inner radial fibrous layer and finely granular outer layer that may include small amounts of adventitious material; aperture an interiomarginal arch in the biserial forms, becoming terminal and cribrate in uniserial ones.
