Diagnosis Test trochospiral to nearly planispiral; chambers with internal partitions, secondary septa or intersepta that attach to the outer wall and form supplementary chambers around the umbilicus; no canal system or stolons; wall of hyaline perforate calcite, optically radial; primary aperture interiomarginal, equatorial to extraumbilical-umbilical in position, may extend up the apertural face or be areal, secondary apertures sutural in position or related to the supplementary internal partitions.
