Description Medium sized to large to giant Schwagerinoidea, with very strong septal folding, small secondary apertures opened at the points of septal loops, with cuniculi and concomitant disappearance of the central aperture and even of the septal pores; generally fusiform, elongate fusiform to subcylindrical; without chomata or very residual; with axial fillings poor or absent.
Occurrence: Artinskian–Capitanian; generally cosmopolitan but with more restricted genera.
