Description Staffelloidea discoidal or lenticular. Pseudochomata relatively poorly developed.
Rare axial filling. Wall simple, trilayered or with a faint luminotheca.
Occurrence: Early Visean-late Moscovian; Eostaffella is cosmopolite, Millerella maybe also; the other genera are endemic of the Palaeotethyan and Uralian Provinces.
