Taxonomic remark a) Leptomesochra nichollsi Noodt, 1955 is the replacement name for Leptomesochra attenuata (Nicholls, 1939), but it is no longer in use and was rejected, and Leptameira attenuata Nicholls, 1939 is to be considered the valid name for the species it denotes. But since Huys (2009) made available Lang's genus name Leptameira as an intentionally new name, Leptameira attenuata Nicholls, 1939 should be accepted as Leptameira attenuata (Nicholls, 1939) and both do not enter into synonymy.
b) Interleptomesochra Lang 1965 is a junior subjective synonym of Leptomesochra Sars, 1911. Then, Interleptomesochra attenuata (Scott A., 1896) of Lang's (1965) Interleptomesochra, is a junior subjective synonym of Normanella attenuata Scott A., 1896 of Sars' (1911) Leptomesochra. Then, Normanella attenuata Scott A., 1896 should be accepted as Interleptomesochra attenuata (Scott A., 1896) which in turn should be accepted as Leptomesochra attenuata (Scott A., 1896).
