AB  - Thirty-one species representing sixteen genera of capitellids were collected from coastal waters of the Andaman Sea offshore Thailand. One represents a new genus and species, <i>Polymastigos reishi</i>, and fifteen others are new species: <i>Peresiella platyalia</i>, <i>Mediomastus warrenae</i>, <i>Heteromastus hutchingsae</i>, <i>Neomediomastus leptus</i>, <i>Capitellethus danida</i>, <i>Leiochrides andamanus</i>, <i>Leiocapitella hartmanae</i>, <i>Rashgua branchiatus</i>, <i>Dodecaseta fauchaldi</i>, <i>D. eibyejacobseni</i>, <i>Dasybranchus eisigi</i>, <i>Promastobranchus orbiculatus</i>, <i>Scyphoproctus glabrus</i>, <i>S. lumenalis</i> and <i>S. fasciculatus</i>. Descriptions and illustrations are presented for all thirty-one species. Keys to genera and species are included with a primary focus on species reported from the Indian Ocean.
