In this publication, the authors discuss the confusion on the authorship of Ostracoda. This last name was published by Latreille in (1806), while Ostrachoda (with an h between the c and o) was published by Latreille in 1802. The first spelling is the one widely used, therefore the authorship of Ostracoda is Latreille, 1806 (not 1802).
