Etymology The species was named Arabella aracaensis in defence of the preservation of Araçá Beach, the collection locality of the two species described here. This beach supports a highly diverse biota which is threatened with extinction because of the expansion of the Port of São Sebastião in the State of São Paulo.  [details]
