Diagnosis Test elongate, triserial, and triangular in section in the early stage, later twisted biserial and compressed, with chambers cuneate in outline, overhanging and recurved at the carinate lateral margins, sutures arched, oblique and depressed; wall calcareous, coarsely perforate, surface pustulate, margins carinate; aperture terminal, a narrow and elongate slit occupying the full width of the apertural face and bordered by an everted rim.
