Diagnosis Test ovate to reniform, with two to four inflated chambers arranged in opposition; wall calcareous, very thin, hyaline, optically radial, perforate, a nonperforate area just below the aperture on the opposing chamber, surface smooth; aperture an equatorial and interiomarginal slit at the base of the final chamber, bordered with a narrow lip on the upper margin.
