Diagnosis Test conical, globular proloculus followed by spiral chamber of nearly a complete whorl, then with gradually enlarging trochospirally enrolled chambers, progressively more numerous per whorl, up to four or five in the final one, all whorls visible from the convex spiral side, only those of the final whorl visible from the flattened to concave umbilical side, sutures radial; wall calcareous, imperforate, porcelaneous; aperture ovate at the open end of the final chamber.
