Synonymy Replacement name for the preoccupied genus Balanites, which was later considered a junior synonym of Caulophacus (Caulophacus). Since it is a replacement name, the type species is the same as that of Balanites, i.e. B. pipetta, but Schulze did not publish the implied new combination. [details]
