Homonymy Aglaura has been used multiple times as a genus name in the early nineteenth century. Aglaura Lamarck, 1818 is a junior homonym to Aglaura Péron & Lesueur 1810 in Cnidaria. Ehlers (1868) replaced it with Aglaurides, but it is also a junior synonym to Oenone. [details]
