However, Sieg, 1980 was unaware of this when he delineated the Apseudoidea so it was not listed initially, but he included it in the superfamily in a subsequent paper (Sieg, 1984); the taxon name is a homonym of Anuropidae Stebbing, 1893:345 (Isopoda) [details]
