Remark Type specie of the genus Labidodemas Selenka, 1867. Syntypes Zoologisches Museum, Göttingen (Germany), Museum of comparative Zoology, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA) No. 736 (2 specimens). Type locality: Hawaiian Ils. (as Sandwich Inseln) and Society Ils. (Rowe & Gates, 1995).
