Spelling The original authors did not indicate whether the species-group name 'spongicola' is to be regarded as a noun in apposition or an adjective. Assuming they considered it an adjective then it is potentially changeable for gender agreement, but the suffix 'cola' does not change on recombination into Terebellosuctoria (feminine genus).
