Taxonomy Amin (2013) lists this genus as a synonym of Acanthocephaloides Meyer, 1932 and attributes it to Petrochenko (1956). However, there appears to be no mention of it in Petrochenko. It was undefined and has no constituent species. It is also pre-occupied by Pseudorhynchus Audinet-Serville, 1838 and Pseudorhynchus Graff. 1882. [details]
