Trophi incudate, large, in some species over 100 µm, adapted for gripping. Rami well developed, manubria and unci vestigial, seemingly nonfunctional in Asplanchnopus and Asplanchna. Vitellarium horseshoe-shaped, spherical, or sacciform." [details]
