Part 14. The polychaetes of the antiboreal and subtropical-tropical southeast coast of Australia between Lakes Entrance (Victoria) in the south and Maclean (New South Wales) in the north. - The taxonomic research of the polychaetes of Australia continues with material collected at the eastern part of Victoria and along most of the parts of New South Wales between Lakes Entrance and Maclean including some samples from Tasmania collected by Pete Riser. The material was collected from December 30, 1975 until January 17, 1976. 118 species were found; 102 of them were already known to science. 87 of the known species were already found by the author farther west and northwest at the coasts between Derby (W.A.) and Port Welshpool (Vic.) (Parts 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13). 7 species (Notalia australiensis, Typosyllis (T.) edensis. T. (T.) riseri, Amblyosyllis vesiculosa, Proceraea filiformis, P. longipharyngea, Oriopsis ornata) and one subspecies (Exogone obtusa tasmanica) are new and will be described. 7 species could not be determined to species level because of incompletement. 52 species of the already known species were new for New South Wales, 7 species new for Tasmania and 2 were new for Victoria. Syllides sexoculata and Ophryotrocha claparedei are recorded from Australia for the first time.
