A female specimen of the pandarid copepod, Dinemoleus indeprensus Cressey & Boyle, 1978, was collected from the body surface of a megamouth shark, Megachasma pelagios , in Sagami Bay (the western North Pacific) off Manazuru, Kanagawa Prefecture, central Japan. This collection represents the third record of D. indeprensus from M. pelagios which is a very rare shark and the only known host.
