Trapania rudmani n.sp. is described and illustrated. It is distinguished from nine congeners on the basis of colour, the body being white with a yellow line along each of the four (two pairs) of dorsolateral, finger-like processes; denticulation of the radular teeth (two short series of denticles, one each side of large cusp, the outer of up to seven graded denticles, the inner of three, uniform or graded); and shape of the penis, acrembolic and unarmed.
