Following with the study of argentinean hydrozoa two species from Subantarctic Region are added Stegopoma plicatile (M. Sars, 1863) and Lafoea weddelli sp. nov. The new species is characterized by its measurements that exceeded those of Lafoea bentophila and by its undulated walls, thus differing from other members of the genus from Antarctic and Subantarctic area. As reproductive structures of this species have not been found, it is provisionally considered as belonging to this genus.
