Description Solitary corallum cemented by a wide attachment area. Calicular outline slightly elliptical. infundibuliform calicular platform. Epitheca s.l. with growth bands (around 2,75 mm vertical growth/year on the type material). Radial elements are compact septa or more probably costosepta with a very short costal part. Most of them are free. Major septa reach the parietal columella. Lateral faces smooth. Distal edge smooth. Inner edge smooth or ornamented of regular long teeth. Larger septa curved, smaller generally straight attenuated and less projected. The curvature is organised with regards to the bilateral symmetry also marked by the elongation of the parietal columella. No thick septa in dorso-ventral plan. Microstructure not observed. Endotheca not observed. No synapticules. Septotheca or paraseptotheca. [details]
