Description Drawn after preserved material. (a) floating polyp stage (mouth downwards) with some medusa buds; scale bar 2 mm. (b) Young medusa; scale bar 0.5 mm. (c) Oral view of tentacle bulb of young medusa, the adaxial side faces upwards; rc radial canal; te tentacle; scale bar 0.1 mm. (d) Nematocysts of medusa: stenotele, heteroneme (eurytele?), desmoneme, basitrichous isorhiza (?); the polyp stage has only stenoteles and desmonemes; scale bar 10 µm.
