Description Р. умеренно расширяющаяся, уплощенная, со слабо выраженным и непостоянным желобком по средней линии уплощенной стороны, к. низкие и широкие, слабо возрастающие в высоту и охватывающие около 1/3 предыдущей к., попер, сеч. р. овальное или сандалевидное, реже с утолщением ст. р. с внутр. стороны по средней линии; поверхность гладкая; устье простое, щелевидное, центральное. 5 видов. В. девон, фран и фамен; В.-Евр. пл., Урал, 3. Украина, Кавказ, С. Сибирь, Ср. Азия, Ц. Евр. (Чехословакия, Польша), США (Аляска), Канада.
Test moderately widening, flattened, with a weakly expressed and variable groove along the midline of the flattened side, chambers low and wide, slightly increasing in height and embracing about 1/3 of the previous chamber, transverse, oval or horse-shoe shape in cross section, less often with a thickening of the wall on the inner side along the axis; the surface is smooth; the aperture is simple, slit-shaped, central. 5 species. Upper Devonian, Frasnian and Famennian; East European Plain, Urals, western Ukraine, Caucasus, North Siberia Central Asia, Central Europe (Czechoslovakia, Poland), USA (Alaska), Canada.
