Original description Diagnosis. Test conical to flared conical, at least periodically attached on its umbilical side. It is formed by a globular proloculus followed, step by step, by 1) a short nepiont formed by trochospirally enrolled subglobular chambers, 2) a calcitic fibro-hyaline layer surrounding the proloculus and the nepiont, 3) the alternation of numerous, trochospirally enrolled, more or less deep subpyramidal to dome-shaped, internally simple chambers and at least one umbilical calcitic, fibro-hyaline layer per whorl. Wall calcitic, dark microgranular to agglutinated. Aperture single, interiomarginal.
Horizon and locality. Lower Cenomanian, Bielba and Altamira formations.
