Original description Test small, subglobular, one to three volutions. Proloculus followed by an erratically coiled spirotheca, last whorl expands very rapidly and evolute. Two to four chambers in last volution , high , inflated, delimited by heavy, anteriorly septa. Wall single layered, microgranular. Secondary deposits developed as nodular and long, curved ridged spines at the floor of chambers.
Stratigraphic range and distribution Tuberendothyra zone of Middle Tournaisian to Spinoendothyra zone of early Late Tournaisian. Middle and upper portion of Yanfang Formation in Yanfang village of Zhanyi county, Eastern Yunnan.
