Status Originally Mintz (1968: p. 1286) included the following taxa: Galeropygus Cotteau, 1856, Hyboclypus L. Agassiz, 1839 and Ressopygus Pomel, 1883.
Order not used in classifications by subsequent authors. As shown by the recent phylogenetic analysis of Barras (2007: p. 150), the order as defined by Mintz (1968) is paraphylletic due to the inclusion of Hyboclypus but exclusion of more derived taxa within the clade. [details]
