Heterocentrotus mamillatus (aboral)
Description Upper side: The primary spines are long and robust with a triangular point. They serve to wedge the echinoid between coral blocks in heavy water motion. The secondary spines are short cut.
Diameter with spines 136 mm; Hawaii.
