Abstract

A new genus and species of pilargid polychaete, Litocorsa stremma, is described from silty grounds on the west coast of Scotland. Its relationship to other pilargid genera is discussed. Notes on two other pilargid species and a revised key to the genera of the Pilargidae are given.
