Join us in Lanzarote, 1-7 October 2018
The 4th International Symposium on Anchialine Ecosystems aims at gathering scientist and students from throughout the world who dedicate their studies to any aspect concerning anchialine environments. Our multidisciplinary gathering will integrate fields of Biology, Systematics and Evolution, Biogeography, Geomicrobiology, Ecology, Geology, Hydrology, Paleontology, and Archeology.

Members of the WoRCS Editorial group, Thomas M. Iliffe, Vasilis Gerovasileiou, Pete van Hengstrum and Alejandro Martínez are in charge for the scientific organization of the conference.

Conference participants provide for an informal atmosphere including oral and poster presentations, roundtable discussions, and multiple social events showcasing local food and wine. Mid-conference excursions will highlight the beauty of the Chinijo Archipelago and Túnel de la Atlántida, one of the world's longest and most diverse known anchialine lava tubes.

Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to enjoy the marvels of Lanzarote. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
