Taxonomy Hooper (1991) describes Trikentrion flabelliforme Carter 1882, however this name is originally from Hentschel. Carter (1882) mentions a Trikentrion laeve which he has examined from a collection from the British Museum from SW Australia and this is most likely Trikentrion flabelliforme Hentschel, 1912. Carter 1882, however, does not mention a Trikentrion laeve var. flabelliforme as stated by Hooper (1991) [details]
